So Close....Yet So Far Away

Have you ever felt so close to something you wanted, and yet so far away from it?
That's how I feel with this new job. It would be a dream come true to work for the Yankees Entertainment and Sports Network (YES Network). I knew that the YES Network was located in the same building as A&E. However, I thought that it was all post-production related departments. A&E has post-production and traffic located where I work so I figured the YES Network would follow suit. Well, I found out that their studio is located on the third floor, the floor above where I work. The YES studio is literally directly above my desk! I was both excited and disheartened to learn this. Excited because this means that I have the opportunity to run into just about anyone related to the Yankees! I can only imagine all the possibilities. Disheartened because it feels as though my dream career is sitting right there in front of me (or rather, right above my head) and I don't know how to grab it.

yes..you do have the answer to get it..it's called prayer and remember this "For I know the plans I have for you says the Lord, they are plans for good not destruction, to bring you a future and a hope" I know this seems hard, but I know that you can do it. Pray and be specific about what you want....you have not, because you ask not, ask and it shall be given....
Do I need to go on? I believe in you and I believe in GOD! You go girl!!

I just love the LORD!!! He has you so close girl.. be patient and still and wait. While your waiting take a few rides in the elevator up one floor, maybe on one of those rides you'll meet whom your intended to meet and either have a job or a husband!!! :) Oh yeh, a Yankee wife!! Love it.......... Just don't marry Jeter, he looks like he hogs the mirror :)

Goodnight sweets.... and remember, just ask, it's that simple.

GO GIANTS!!! 6 GAMES IN A ROW!!!!
(Oh, no chance of the playoffs but

I think I am as excited as you are. But you know how I am when it comes to my G-kids. You also know how I am in elevators, so be sure to always get off on the right floor and turn the right way. You never know, your dream may be just a door away. We are here to help you open that door. Just keep knocking. Mr. Opportunity may be on the other side. G-ma XXOO
